Argentina 

The name comes from the Latin word Argentum, which means “silver”, the treasure that Spanish colonies believed they would find there.

El Chaten Nearly 2.8 million km and with a population of 38.6 million people, Argentina is the second largest country in South America. The official language is Spanish. There are also the languages spoken by Aboriginal minorities. The most important ones are Quechua and Guaraní.
San Rafael Argentina is characterized by its different climate areas and its flora and fauna. From the tropical regions and subtropical regions in the north down to the coldest ones in the south, Argentina has all the different climatic areas of the planet. There are subtropical woods, large plains, conifer woods and glaciers; whales, penguins, monkeys, parrots and flamingos can be seen in different parts of the country.
Polo Theatre, cinema and music, with the typical tango, the rhythm which identifies us around the world, all play an important cultural role . The most famous tango performers are Carlos Gardel, Astor Piazzola and Osvaldo Pugliese. Argentine folk music is also represented by great musicians. The late Hector R. Chavero, known as Atahualpa Yupanqui and Mercedes Sosa, born in Tucumán, are internationally renowned folk musicians. There is a lively theatre scene in many cities. Anyone could see more than 100 different plays by professional and amateur actors in a week. People have a passion for sports in Argentina. football and rugby are the most popular ones. River Plate and Boca Juniors, both in Buenos Aires, are the most important clubs. Horse sports are also popular, especially polo.  
Jorge Luis Borges mockingly described an Argentine person as “an Italian who speaks Spanish and would like to be English”. These words accurately describe a country largely populated by European immigrants like Argentina. According to statistics, more than 90 % of the population have European ancestors.
